To experience reasonably priced Korean cuisine in Dublin, visit Dalang Korean restaurant in the city's heart. Dalang, situated at Dame Street in Dublin, provides a delightful blend of Korean and Japanese cuisine in a cosy, cafe-like ambience, perfect for enjoying meals with your spouse, friends, or family. Due to its popularity, the restaurant tends to be bustling with customers, so making a reservation in advance is strongly recommended to secure a table. The restaurant also delivers food, so ordering is always an option if you don't get a chance to visit.

At the entrance, you'll find a convenient drinks counter where you can quickly order among a variety of refreshing Korean beverages, including Bubble Tea, to enjoy on the move.

The restaurant has been in the service of serving traditional Korean food for over nine years in Dublin. Known for its sushi dishes, it has extended its service and provides Korean Barbeque as well. However, for vegetarian guests sensitive to seafood odours, it's essential to know that the restaurant ambience might have a faint scent of seafood. While it didn't impact our enjoyment, I thought it would be considerate to mention it.

My husband and I visited Dalang on a pleasant Friday evening; we were fortunate to have made a reservation, resulting in a minimal wait time for our table. The staff at the restaurant displayed remarkable hospitality, ensuring that our food was promptly served. To complement our meal, we delighted in ordering Tsingtao, a popular Chinese beer known for its light and refreshing characteristics, making it an ideal choice for those hesitant about exploring new beer options.

Shrimp Zucchini Dumpling

To begin our meal, we indulged in the Shrimp Zucchini Dumpling, a Chinese appetizer. These steamed dumplings truly stood out as some of the most exceptional we have ever had the pleasure of tasting. The combination of these steamed dumplings with Soya sauce was incredibly delicious.

Seafood Futomaki

Next on our list of starters was the Seafood Futomaki, a sushi option. This sushi roll consists of eight pieces generously filled with a delightful combination of shellfish, fish, and sesame seeds. Futomaki is known for its traditional style of being thick and fat, with flavorful harmony of vegetables and seafood ingredients that will satisfy your palate. The dish was extremely filling, and the portion of both the starters was large, so if you have a small appetite, I would consider ordering one starter.

Chicken Cha Han

For my main course, I opted for the Chicken Cha Han, a scrumptious Japanese dish with a comforting serving of miso soup. This dish offers two meat options, including chicken and beef. It showcases a blend of stir-fried Japanese rice, mixed vegetables, and egg, all combined with your choice of meat. Accompanying this satisfying meal is a bowl of miso soup which has a unique taste to it. Miso soup is not only low in calories but also rich in nutrients and probiotics, making it beneficial for digestion. I thoroughly enjoyed my main course and would reccomend everyone to try the miso soup as it soothes your palate.

Seafood Bibimbap

My husband opted for the Seafood Bibimbap, which is a delectable Korean rice dish that is highly recommended. This renowned dish features a combination of king prawns, squid mince, mixed lettuce, cucumber, zucchini, red carrots, and bean sprouts, all topped with a perfectly half-fried egg. With its generous portions of vegetables and seafood, this satisfying meal will leave you feeling completely satiated. It is a must-try for seafood lovers.

Overall, we were thrilled with our initial encounter of savouring authentic Korean cuisine, and we wholeheartedly recommend Dalang Korean restaurant in Dublin to anyone seeking a budget-friendly yet remarkable Korean dining experience. Do make a reservation before visiting and give their bubble tea a try.
